Backwardness and poverty

Backwardness is a complex state of social, cultural, or economic underdevelopment, often marked by isolation and lack of access to resources and information, while poverty is the scarcity of financial resources and inability to meet basic needs. These two concepts are closely intertwined; poverty can be a cause and a symptom of backwardness, as lack of resources and opportunities creates a cycle of underdevelopment.
